A genuine sense of self is always a meeting between body and mind.
I am a graduate of the Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork. Completing their Holistic Massage diploma enabled me to develop a grounded, flowing, sensitive and creative massage technique.
Drawing on my healthcare background of over 10 years as a radiographer, my skills are underpinned by a deep understanding and continuing curiosity about the inner processes of the body.
My training as a holistic massage therapist has enabled me to consider the body through the lens of the nervous system. It’s something we all share, the way the nervous system works is predictable and brings us together. It is the science of connection.
I am naturally client centred, working with presence and self-awareness. As a massage practitioner I offer a stable compassionate presence to develop trust and in turn focus on calming the nervous system, providing release for both the body and the mind.
Continuing to receive massage as part of my own self care practice has provided experience of connection between the body and mind. I have found this to be a profound experience which I would love to share.
In essence, I hope to provide a treatment which balances language, touch and movement, so you may discover words and insight to your embodied experience.
Specialisms: Holistic massage, Swedish body massage, deep tissue massage, pregnancy massage
